The Photography has always been a constant presence in my life.  Above all,  I like taking photos of people.  I like to capture in their faces,  often ancient ones,  the signs of life they have been living in.  But I also,  like taking photos of Astronomical Phenomena (e.g.  Hale-Bopp passage or Planets ),  places,  artists . 

I began to take interest in Photography in 1971,  when I first "met" David Hamilton's girls.  The beauty of those pictures struck me in a very strong manner,  and in that April I resolved to become a photographer,  and a good one ! In five months I read a lot of magazines and learned as many things about photography as I was able to.  I read the famous Feininger's books,  two or three times.  I devoted all my spare time to them.  In September of same year ,  without any help from anyone,  I began developing and printing my first film all on my own.  I think I won't ever be able to describe what I felt when I saw my first picture to take life under my eyes,  perhaps it's only ranks next to the birth of my son in my heart.  Today,  after more than 30.000 clicks,  the very moment I see the first exposure of a new film is still a beautiful one. 

In 27 years I have taken photos for several purposes :  for my pleasure,  for weddings,  for reproductions,  for catalogues,  for calendars,  for my family,  for gifts,  for my friends,  for nothing;  I will never abandon Photography and She will never depart from me. 

On May , 7th, 2005 I made a new Photos Exhibition,  "Arrivi e Partenze"
